A holiday lodge is bigger, more solidly built and more “house-like” than a static caravan — timber construction, higher ceilings, proper double glazing and often a deck or veranda designed to be lived on. Most are built to British Standard for holiday accommodation, and many sit on parks with longer seasons.

The trade-off is money. Lodges typically cost significantly more than static caravans, and site fees on lodge parks tend to be higher too. You are buying more home — and paying for it.
