Where should I buy a static caravan in Cornwall?
Around Newquay, Perranporth and St Ives for the classic surfing-coast experience; around Looe, Fowey and the south-east for quieter, sunnier shelter. Expect to pay a premium in all of them.
North coast vs south coast
The north coast (Newquay, Perranporth, St Ives Bay) has the classic Atlantic feel — big beaches, more exposure, close to the main resorts. The south coast (Looe, Fowey, Polperro) is more sheltered, often sunnier, and tends to feel softer and quieter.
Both have strong holiday parks. Choose the coast that matches how you want to holiday.
